EVERY YARD SHOULD COUNT

Why don't we change the scoring to decimals?
Every 1 passing yard = 0.04pts
Every 1 rushing or receiving yard = 0.1pts

This would make closer games in fantasy AND every yard would count... which in real life they do. Stats aren't recorded by every 10 or 25 yards. Think it over. I'm all for the change.

  3. Are you saying that decimals are a great idea that will get things moving? Cause I agree. Don't just say "NO" because it's change. It would make the league better. I'm all for better.

  4. Disagree completely. Stupid.

I have always hated the leagues that people say 'i just won 184.65 to 181.7. sweet!'. Sounds pretty durr durr-ish to me.

Also it sounds as if you have done the research to maximize your odds of reaching the podium. All not in favor, say Neh!:

    NEH!

  5. we might as well add points per catch and pick up a defensive player while we are at it.

lets also make this a keeper league. since we are now trying to nub out our league.

    good talk.

  6. Now Vernon, let's be nice.

We can at least talk about it.

  7. Sorry C, to be so blunt. You know i love you.

I assume my stance is noted and is quite firm. Stern, rather. Stern, but fair.

  8. I have an idea... how about we all tell stories like Brent and exaggerate everything.
I said decimals. Not keeper league. Not ppr.
Also, decimals or no decimals I will beat you.
You'll notice that adding decimals doesn't even change the player rankings. It just gives a more accurate account of the yards gained by the player.
I know you love me, but your stubbornness on the matter is weak.

  9. brent = weak, don't be so mean, don't exaggerate. C = like new ideas but our league has enough complexity with the bonuses. bruce = how do you search and finds gifs like that?

Drafting Chris Johnson first round! He's awesome!

  10. Dang. Happy "throw Brent under the bus day." My apologies, Vernon. Didn't mean to inaugurate a new holiday.

It's the 2.78991 quarter, 4:52:720097 seconds remain, 3rd and 3.566322 yards to go, and poor Tebow only got this many on his stupid wishbone triple option.

Sorry, Balls. Today 'aint 'cho day.

  11. Vernon again will apologize. And will now minimize his input on this blog of people who get there feewings huwrt. That includes all of you commenters on this post.

Sorry C (like really. i am truly sorry). Bain = two face (not sorry to you Bain). and to that regard, Bruce = two face as well (absolutely no sorry there bud). Even your (ZORS) email behind the blogs back is two faced. I thought we's kin.

All that said, I still dont like the idea.

  12. Jeez, Vernon. Here I am trying to stick up for you again and now you turn on me?! Re-read the comments, Waldrip. That one little "Now Vernon, let's be nice" unintentionally started the under-the-bus throwing, and I only meant it to make the gif funnier -- you know, so that it looked like we really were going to talk about decimals.

Yeesh. Someone got his feewing huwrt indeed...

  13. Bruce, no matter how gay you are, your gifs make me laugh. Brent, if you're going to be mean just add a gif and it will be taken well :) Ben, well said. Beth, you're not a part of this. Everyone else, you'll never read this because your involvement in the league is wishy washy and you don't partake in the blogs.

  14. Well said balls. And again I apologize. Bruce, i apologize to you as well. Forgive, roomate? A misread of your post. Trying to hear inflection from text fails me again.

I am done with apologies for today. Done for good.

  15. you misspelled roommate...just for your future reference, you know?
